I started training with Devin at Dialed in early 2024, and it’s completely changed what feels possible for me. The mountains have always been where I feel most alive. I live for long climbs, steep descents, and moving through wild, untamed places. Running gives me clarity and steadiness, even when life feels chaotic; it’s how I connect with myself, with nature, and with this beautiful little planet. But the demands of endurance running can take a heavy toll on the body. Before Dialed, I was dealing with random aches and pains all the time. My knees, hips, back, you name it. Since training with Dev, I’ve built strength and resilience that not only keep me healthy, but also give me the confidence and foundation to keep chasing the mountains I love.

What makes Dialed so special is not just the training - though the workouts that Devin programs are a real challenge and never boring - but the energy of the community itself. Being surrounded by women (gotta love the 7:30 crew) who support one another, push it, and hype each other up creates something rare and powerful. It’s not just about getting stronger in the gym; it’s about carrying that strength into every other part of life.

People ask me why I put myself through long, grueling runs all the time. But it's how I grow. It’s how I discover new versions of myself, and how I remember that joy, resilience, and connection come from leaning into the hard things. Training with Devin at Dialed has given me the ability to keep showing up for the mountains, for myself, and for this sweet, sweet little life of mine.

Growing up as an avid mediocre Hunter I never really considered fitness to be involved with pursuing animals. And when I moved to MT and discovered that this was a completely different ballgame than what I had been exposed to it was easy for me to see how they went hand-in-hand. I started off by going to the gym and doing the same old rituals that I have been taught with a heavy focus on strength building and realized that it wasn’t making hiking or packing out any easier.

Then I was introduced to Dialed Fitness and the team there. I had a big hunt coming up in New Zealand I was planning for and understood that this was going to be something that I have never done before where the terrain was going to be more aggressive and intimidating. I knew conditioning was going to be the most important aspect to be able to sustain performance in that environment.

At Dialed Dev & Jimmy have created programs that focus on just that as well as strength building. It was the ideal training in my mind to become prepared for the unknown. And it payed off. I had been going for about 3 months 4-5 times a week. It was still very difficult environment to be in, but I noticed after a long day I wasn’t as tired and more importantly I notice my recovery was immediate after a nights rest. My body felt great the next day, like I hadn’t done anything the day before. I attribute that to Dialed and the coaches. If I hadn’t gone I think I wouldn’t have been able to consistently gone up that mountain and ultimately be successful in my pursuit.

Dialed played a huge role in my preparation to climb Denali. Months prior to the climb, Jimmy put together a training plan for me tailored toward being able to haul 140lbs of gear and food up and down the mountain over the course of 3 weeks. My 5:15am crew, Nicole, Jesse, and many others pushed alongside me through many tough workouts and held me accountable to show up and grind every day.

As a result, I landed at Denali base camp confident that I was physically ready to tackle the 20k foot mountain in front of me and after 18 days on the glacier, my two teammates and I stood on the summit! I’m grateful and proud to be apart of this family and to have had the opportunity to fly the Dialed flag at the top of North America!
